The Saints moved into the quarter finals of this season's FAI Cup following a 3-1 victory over a spirited Wexford Youths side in Ferrycarrig Park.

The visitors went two nil up inside twenty minutes with goals from Mark Quigley and John Murphy before Gavin Doyle pulled one back for the Youths on 28 minutes.

Murphy scored his second of the night in the second half after good work from substitute Ryan Guy to secure the victory.
