Jamie Harris Helps Launch Summer Soccer Camp
Recently in Ringsend club captain, Jamie Harris was on hand to help launch the 2008 FAI Summer Soccer Camp programme.
This year up to 25,000 boys and girls are expected to attend 260 camps across the country as a way to develop their soccer skills.
A feature of the courses is that all participants are asked to nominate their favourite eircom League of Ireland team and they then receive a season pass for all home games of that club for the league of Ireland season.
Any initiative that encourages youngsters to actively engage in sport is to be welcomed and hopefully it will lead to some younger supporters and their families coming along to Richmond Park.
