Setanta Cup Cross Border Links

St Patrick's Athletic took the opportunity of their opening group match in the Setanta Cup against Glentoran to build links across the youth sections of both clubs.

A group of 30 young people from Glentoran schoolboys were invited down to Richmond Park as guests of the club.

As well as meeting their counterparts from St Pat's schoolboys both groups lined up before kick-off to form a guard of honour and to welcome both sides onto the pitch.

A thrilling 3-3 draw also meant that both sets of young supporters thoroughly enjoyed the occasion!
