Fortune Gets Another Chance To Impress
from www.safc.com
Quinton Fortune will make another appearance for Sunderland's reserves today when they play St Patrick's Athletic at the Stadium of Light.
Fortune, a former Manchester United player and team-mate of Roy Keane, aims to win a contract with the Black Cats. The South African, 30, played in a friendly against Bradford last week.
Keane, Sunderland's manager, said: "I know Quinton, he's been here for about six weeks and he's trained really well. He's coming back from a bad injury and I invited him up here. We'll make a decision on him soon."
Jean-Yves M'voto, Ian Harte, Russell Anderson and Graham Kavanagh are also due to play in the friendly against the League of Ireland side.
St Patrick's are in England as part of their pre-season programme. The game kicks off at 5pm and admission is free.
