Saints Suffer First League Defeat

St Patrick's Athletic suffered their first league defeat of the 2007 season at Turner's Cross last night.

Cork's Roy O'Donovan dispatched a 69th minute penalty, the first they have conceeded from the spot, following Stephen's Paisley's foul on the goal scorer.

Paisley was red-carded for the offence and will not sit out the next match.

Saints midfielder, Alan Kirby was injured during the warm-up and Dave Mulcahy was replaced at half-time, also to injury.
