PROMOTION PUSH ON TRACK

ANTHONY BAILEY'S UNDER 16s push for promotion took a took a huge step forward when these young Saints recorded a fine 2-0 win over League leaders Firhouse Carmel. The result brings the Saints to within one point of Firhouse with a game in hand.

Bailey commented, “The side is growing with confidence and going about their football in the right way. The win keeps us right up there and sets us up nicely for our final run in.”

OUR UNDER 15s have also kept their promotion charge on the rails. In a tricky tie at home to 3rd placed Naas FC the “Red & Whites” recorded a superb 4-0 win. A brace from Gary Gannon and one each from Philip Hall and Jonathon Mullane saw off the Naas challenge.
The win sees the 15s go 6 points ahead of second placed St Joseph's Boys.
