Pre Season Preparations
Manager John Mc Donnell today released details of the club's pre season preparations.
The team gather together for fitness testing on January 26th. "All players will under go a full fitness test and will be set goals to achieve before the season starts" says Mc Donnell.
The next eight to nine weeks will consist of track work, working in the gym as well as plenty of work on the training pitch in Celbridge.
Speaking to stpatsfc.com today, John Mc Donnell said "The players will be doing two sessions a day, working on the track in the morning and on the training pitch in the afternoon. Then another day they will be on the training pitch in the morning and at the gym in the afternoon."
St. Pats play Waterford United in a pre season friendly on February 2nd.
The squad head off for a week of pre season training in Antequera. "We will play a game on the Wednesday. Again the lads will be doing two to three sessions a day." says Mc Donnell.
