EIRCOM REPRESENTATIVE HONOURS FOR YOUTH COACHES & PLAYERS

ST PAT'S DIRECTOR OF YOUTH FOOTBALL Jason Carey and our Youth Goalkeeping coach Gareth Coakley are part of the coaching team for the Eircom Under 18 Squad. The representative side are participating in this year's FAI Youth Inter league competition.

The squad also includes a number of players from our youth set up. They include Irish underage internationals Noel Haverty and Derek Foran as well as Saints Under 21 player Anthony Costigan. Other Saints players are also expected to feature in the squad over the coming months.

You can see them in action this Saturday (Nov 11th) when the Eircom side take on their AUL counterparts at 2:00 pm in the AUL Complex.

Carey said, “It's a good chance for our players to gain experience of representative football at a decent level and can be seen as part of their on going football education. It is also a chance for Gareth and myself to work with some of the best up and coming players in the league and pass on some of our experience to them.”

Carey continued, "It compliments the work we are doing here at St Pats as we try to educate and help our players to reach their maximum potential.”
