Win A Trip To Old Trafford By Attending Saturday's Match

Coming to the Showgrounds has never been more worthwhile as Sligo Rovers have announced details of an innovative new draw that will see six lucky people being whisked off to see Manchester United play Liverpool in the Premiership.

Three winners will receive a package for two people that includes

• Flights from Galway to Manchester
• Tour of Old Trafford
• Accommodation in Jury's Inn, Manchester
• Evening meal in a top restaurant
• Match tickets for Manchester United v Liverpool on the 22nd of October

And all this is FREE ! All you have to do to be in with a chance of travelling from The Showgrounds to the Theatre of Dreams, is attend the Sligo Rovers Premier Division clash with St Patrick's Athletic on Saturday September 23rd. It's that simple!

This initiative is very much a thank you to the club's existing support base, but is also hoped that those fans who don't come to The Showgrounds regularly will make the trip and see for themselves the quality of developments both on and off the field.

The prize has been organised by the Sligo Branch of the Manchester United supporters club who have very kindly donated the tickets. Supporter's club spokesman, Mr Vincent Nally, outlined the objectives of the draw.

“Every club in the country is trying to attract more supporters through the turnstiles, and we were delighted to be able to help Rovers out.

“This is an opportunity to reward faithful supporters who attend the Showgrounds on a regular basis, but Rovers also want to attract new fans and we're hopeful that people who might come along for the first time will be sufficiently impressed to come back. It's all about building the club's support base,” he concluded.

Former Rovers manager Billy Sinclair who led the Bit O'Red to their last Premier Division title in 1977 will make the draw on the night.

Kick-off on September 23rd against St Pat's is 7.45pm.
