ST PATRICK'S ATHLETIC remain in relegation trouble after once again failing register a victory when they really could have taken all three points.

The Saints are without a win since July and saw their hopes of ending that record disappear down the tunnel when Seán O'Connor was dismissed in giving away the penalty for Bohs' equaliser.

Pat's striker Ger Rowe looked lively throughout the first half and he came closest on the half hour when his effort was cleared off the line by Stephen Rice.

The breakthrough arrived on 52 minutes when Michael Foley blasted a penalty past Bohemians keeper Matt Gregg after Glen Atle Larsen was fouled.

However, Bohs drew level 17 minutes later when Tony Grant fired home from the spot after O'Connor's foul on Rice in the area that saw him dismissed.
