St Pat's have progressed to the Semi Final of the Leinster Senior Cup following this afternoon's 1-0 against Cabinteely at Stradbrook Road.

Saints' manager Stephen O'Donnell made 11 changes to the team who draw with UCD on Friday night. 12 of today's squad are playing or have played with the Saints academy sides.

Having dominated the first half St Pat's had to wait until the 44th minute for the opening goal with Gary Shaw applying a neat finish to Jake Walker's cross.

As the weather conditions deteriorated in the second half the Saints struggled to test Peter Quinlin in hte home goal. Indeed Pat's were thankful for the quick reactions of Brian Maher, who made a smart save late in the game on his first appearance of the season.
