Jon Daly continued to build his St Patrick's Athletic squad with the signing of Arran Pettifer from Bolton Wanderers in early February.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who had been training with the cub for the last few weeks, joined St Pat's on a permanent deal.

Pettifer featured in the recent pre-season wins against Cork City and Drogheda United and made his competitive debut for the club in the Leinster Senior Cup away to St Mochtas.

He was unfortunately sent off in the first-half for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

Arran, who is from Stockport, joined the Bolton Wanderers Academy when he was 8, and progressed through the ranks there to sign his first professional contract in the summer of 2022, he made two senior appearances for The Trotters.
