    Midfielder Aaron Bolger joined St Pat's on a multi-year contract on December 13th 2023.

    The 23-year-old arrived at Richmond Park after two-and-a-half seasons at Cork City, and links up with his former City teammate Ruairi Keating in Inchicore.

    Having been part of a very successful St Joseph's Boys schoolboy side, which also featured Joe Redmond and Brandon Kavanagh, Bolger began his League of Ireland career with Shamrock Rovers, making his Premier Division debut as a 16-year-old during the 2016 season.

    He joined Cardiff City on loan in February 2019 before signing for Cardiff on a permanent deal and then returning on loan to Shamrock Rovers and then Longford Town during his two years with the Walsh club.

    The Ireland underage international, who was named Ireland U17 International Player of the Year in 2018, returned home and signed for Cork City in July 2021, and was part of their First Division title win in 2022, being named in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year and Cork City Player of the Year in the process.

    He made 36 appearances for City last season (2023), 31 of them in the Premier Division.

    Aaron has made 3 competitive appearance for St Pat’s so far, 2 in the LSC and 1 in the President's Cup.
