    Alex Nolan made 22 Premier Division appearances for UCD AFC, scoring once and getting one assist, before joining St Patrick's Athletic in the July 2023 transfer window.

    His last appearance for UCD was actually against The Saints at Richmond Park, St Pat's were 7-0 winners that night.

    Nolan made his debut for the club off the bench in the 2-1 win away to Longford Town in the FAI Cup on Sunday July 23rd, he has made 15 appearances for far.

    He was on the bench for both of the Europa Conference League qualifiers against F91 Dudelange.

    The 20-year-old came off the bench in our FAI Cup 2nd round game away to Derry City and scored his penalty in the 4-3 penalty shootout win, he has made 12 appearances in red and white in his first season and was part of our 2023 FAI Cup winning squad, coming on in the final against Bohs.

    Alex began his League of Ireland career with Shamrock Rovers U17s before spending two seasons with Shelbourne, where he featured for their U17s, U19s and First Team, winning the First Division in 2021 to help Shels to promotion back to the Premier Division.

    Nolan joined UCD AFC ahead of the 2022 campaign, and made 50 senior appearances for The Students, helping them retain their place in the Premier Division with a 1-0 win against Waterford in the play-offs at Richmond Park last November, assisting Tommy Lonergan’s winning goal with a fantastic cross.
