Paul Osam
- Position: Midfielder
- Number: TBC
- Age: 57 (20th December, 1967)
If you were to ask a person not associated with St Pats to name an outstanding 'Saints' player of the last fifteen years, the name Paul Osam is the most likely to be given. This is not surprising considering the illustrious career Paul developed at Inchicore.
Paul joined St Pats from Mount Merrion in 1988 as a 19 year old and with the exception of a year's 'leave of absence' when he joined Shamrock Rovers, he spent 18 years as player and Assistant Manager with the Saints until he joined Bray Wanderers as Assistant Manager at the start of the 2008 season.
As a 'Saint', 'Oso' won six League Championship medals (a club record five with St Pats and one with Shamrock Rovers), two League Cup winners and one runners-up medal and two F.A.I. Cup runners-up medals.
He was PFAI and Irish Soccer Writer's Player of the Year in 1999 and represented the League of Ireland on five occasions.
