Cyril Guedje

    • Position: Forward
    • Number: 23
    • Age: 32 (18th June, 1992)

Cyril is the first Togolese player to represent St Pat’s, and the first to appear in the League of Ireland.

Not much is known of Guedje bar a couple of YouTube clips, which contain exciting snippets of his five appearances for his country.

The 22-year-old looks pacey and has a trick up his sleeve, he has also notched twice for his country.

The right sided midfielder can also play centrally and has had a previous foray into European football with Boluspor.

The last African of note to dazzle in Richmond Park was the great Ugandan Charles 'Mbazi' Livingstone, and if our latest acquisition can manage to get close to Charlie’s level, than he will be adored by the Saints faithful.

After all, we do have a thing for foreign cult heroes, the names Ryan Guy and Tony Bird spring to mind.

Previous Clubs: Boluspor (Turkey), Agnes (Togo)
