Chris Bennion

    Chris is an experienced goalkeeper who signed in July 2010 from Athlone Town.

    He came through the youth system at Heart of Midlothian before signing for Middlesbrough in 1999. Chris couldn't make the breakthrough at the Riverside and spent some time at Scunthorpe United before signing for Shelbourne in 2002.

    Chris left Tolka Park for Dundalk in 2004 and had the most successful spell of his career with the Lillywhites retaining the number one jersey for almost six seasons.

    Chris joined Athlone Town in advance of the 2010 season before returning to the Premier Division with St Pats.

    Previous Clubs: Middlesbrough, Scunthope United, Shelbourne, Dundalk, Athlone Town.
