Saints' Focus Back On League Matters

Richmond Park plays host to the Airtricity League match between St Patrick's Athletic and UCD tomorrow (Sunday) at 3pm.

The Saints are unbeaten at home in their last ten league games and will be looking for all three points to close the gap on the league leaders.

Team News

Saints' top goal scorer, Danny North, misses out due to suspension, while Stephen Bradley is doubtful having picked up an injury against Karpaty on Thursday.

“Our attention is back on winning league games after the European campaign. We all got caught up on the hype and excitement, but we knew it would come to an end at some stage.”

“We all thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a great experience for myself the players and the supporters.”

“The most important thing now is to focus on the league and keeping in touch with the league leaders.”

“We will be looking to get seven points from the next three games which won't leave us far off the top, and with all the top teams to visit Richmond Park in the last round of games, it should leave us in contention in the run-in.”

“UCD have enjoyed a two week break and will be fresh for this game having enjoyed the time off. Our players are nursing knocks and bruises following the European games, which have been both physically and mentally sapping.“

There will be some changes to the starting eleven with Sean O'Connor (recent signing from Limerick FC) in contention to start.
