Match Bulletin: Saints V Dundalk (27/02/26)
St Patrick's Athletic will begin a busy period of six matches before the international break by hosting Dundalk FC at Richmond Park on Friday.
With the Galway United game postponed due to an unplayable pitch two weeks ago, this will be a first home game of the season for The Saints.
A busy weekend in Inchicore will then see Stephen Kenny's side face Galway United in that rescheduled fixture on Monday evening before a Dublin Derby at Tolka Park on Friday week.
St Pat's have started the 2026 season with a scoreless draw against Bohemians at Aviva Stadium before a 2-0 defeat at Shamrock Rovers last Friday.

Nine of the last 10 meetings of these club's have been in the LOI Premier Division, the most recent of those was at Oriel Park in September 2024 when Mason Melia and Tom Grivosti scored in a 2-1 win.
Dundalk's last visit to Richmond was in the Leinster Senior Cup final last October which they won 2-1.
This will be the 168th LOI meeting of these clubs
Friday will be the first time in 127 days that St Patrick's Athletic have played a home League match at Richmond Park. Their last League outing at home was a 1-1 draw against Waterford on October 24th in which Mason Melia scored his last ever goal for the club.
In terms of player stats, Zack Elbouzedi made his 50th appearance for St Patrick's Athletic in last weekend's defeat in Tallaght.
Dundalk Manager Ciaran Kilduff is a former St Patrick's Athletic player, goalkeeper Conor Kearns is also formally of Richmond Park while striker Eoin Kenny (son of St Pat's Manager Stephen) is also part of The Lilywhites squad.
Former St Patrick's Athletic player Damien Byrne, who was laid the rest earlier this month, will be remembered before kick-off, along with everyone from the St Patrick's Athletic family who has passed away since the end of last season, with a moment of applause.
