After the summer break this Friday June 23rd the eircom Premier League resumes and Friday Sportsnight returns on RTÉ Radio 1.

The main featured game is in Turner's Cross where champions Cork City play host to League Leaders Drogheda United.

John Kenny and Eoin Hand will be in commentary box and Pat McAuliffe pitchside.

There will be of course updates and reports from the rest of the other premier division games from our reporters.

There is one First Division game where league leaders Limerick FC take on Kilkenny City at home. We will have updates from Hogan Park.

Also we will have the very latest news from the World Cup in Germany.
