Top of the table St Patrick’s Athletic host Drogheda United at Richmond Park looking to extend their lead over Bohemians at the summit of the Airtricity League Premier Division.
Unbeaten in Airtricity League competition so far this season, the Saints’ only defeat in 2010 came at the hands of Drogheda United in the Leinster Senior Cup.
Pete Mahon’s side has no injury or suspension concerns ahead of the match.
“All five of the Premier Division games played during the week ended in draws, which reaffirms my belief as to how difficult it is to win matches in this league,” said Mahon.
“Drogheda have more strengths throughout their team than their current league placing may suggest.
They have some experienced players well capable of turning a game – some of whom played here last year and we will have to be on our guard.”
Drogheda patched-up their leaky defense for Monday’s match against Bray Wanderers, Alan Mathews’ side keeping their first clean sheet of the 2010 campaign.
However, the Drogheda rear-guard will have to be on top of their game to shut-out the Saints attack.
Joe Kendrick is suspended for the visitors, while Corie Treacy is once again doubtful.
