Mark Timlin produced a wonderful extra-time chip to send St Pat's into the last four of the EA Sports Cup after a pulsating clash at the Carlisle Grounds on Monday afternoon.
Timlin provided a moment of magic just when Liam Buckley's men needed it to swing a ding-dong collision their way.
Billy Dennehy broke the deadlock for the visitors on 53 minutes, needing two attempts to fire past Peter Cherrie.
The lead only lasted six minutes though as Dylan Connolly expertly guided past Brendan Clarke.
Jamie McGrath almost won it for the Saints in normal time when his header crashed off the bar, but he rippled the net six minutes into extra-time to put his side in the ascendancy again.
Bray wouldn't lie down though, as Gareth McDonagh latched onto Ger Pender's ball to level things up before Timlin finally settled it with a sumptuous chip over Cherrie with 110 minutes on the clock.
