St Patrick's Athletic host Sligo Rovers in the SSE Airtricity League on Friday night as the Saints look to return to winning ways against the Bit O'Red (kick-off 7.45pm, Richmond Park).
The Saints will be hoping to make it three wins out of three against Sligo in the league this season, while for their part, Mickey Adams side will be looking to get a result in Inchicore to push them away from the relegation zone.
The Saints have recorded 3-0 wins both home and away against Sligo to date this season, however ahead of Friday's game, Pat's manager Liam Buckley is expecting a tough challenge against a side now under the guidance of Mickey Adams.
"Sligo will be tough opponents on Friday. They always come to Inchicore and have a go to try and win the game. That being the case, we're expecting a challenge from them on Friday. Both teams have to go out and win the game for their respective goals in the season," Buckley told stpatsfc.com.
"That being the case, it makes for a good game for people come down and watch on the night."
In team news, the Saints will assess the fitness of Jason McGuinness (knee) and Greg Bolger (hamstring) as they recover from injuries, while Brendan Clarke misses out with a broken finger. Buckley meanwhile can call upon the services of skipper Ger O'Brien after he returned to training.
