Travel Details For EA Sports Cup Final

On Saturday the Saints take on Galway United in the final of the EA Sports Cup.

The Patron Saints are running a train for the fixture and here are some important details:

  • Tickets for the train will be given out in the bar in Heuston Station on Saturday from 12pm-1pm.
  • There are three carriages booked for St Pat's fans and Irish Rail have advised supporters to be on the train by 1.10pm at the latest.
  • The train departs at 1.20pm and arrives in Galway at 3.43pm. Match kick-off is 6.05pm
  • Please note that Eammon Deacy Park is approximately 5 minutes by taxi or a 20 minute walk from the train station.
  • The return train departs at 10pm sharp and arrives back in Heuston Station at 00.05am. There is 1 stop in Portarlington at 11.25pm
  • There will be a catering trolley serving the three carriages on both journeys.
  • Irish Rail have confirmed the car park in Heuston Station will remain open until after the train arrive.
  • Please remember that you are representing the club. There will be stewards from the club and Irish Rail security on board the train.
  • Match tickets are currently available from club, but will also be available for purchase at the gate on the night.
  • Galway have advised that away supporters are in a new section in the ground, in the Old Stand, closest to the clubhouse.
