St Patrick's Athletic host Bohemians in Richmond Park in Friday's much anticipated FAI Ford Cup quarter-final Dublin derby, kick-off 7.45pm.

Friday's match sponsor is SARI (Sport Against Racism in Ireland) Soccerfest, Pub sponsor is Taveys Bar on Emmet Road, Inchicore, while the match ball sponsor is the The Patron Saints.

Liam Buckley's side face the Gypsies in what is the Saints' ninth consecutive FAI Cup quarter-final appearance in a row – two of those seasons seeing the Inchicore side reach the FAI Cup final.

In team news ahead of the game, Saints' manager Buckley welcomes the fact that he has no injuries going into Friday's game, reporting no knocks or niggles following the Saints' 2-1 Leinster Senior Cup Final win over Longford Town on Tuesday. However Pat's will be without the cup-tied Aaron Greene due to his appearance in Sligo Rovers' 3-0 defeat to Dundalk in the second round of the competition.

Buckley told stpatsfc.com that he was delighted with the win during the week, paying tribute to the Saints' younger stars before adding that the mindset immediately shifted towards the FAI Ford Cup clash with Bohs.

“It was great to get the win on Tuesday. It was a great experience for some our younger players, and to see two players who came through the under 19 ranks in Sam Verdon and Jack Bayly score was particularly pleasing.”

“But we're all now focused on Friday night and Bohemians. The game is obviously important for both teams with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs, and from our end of things, it's one of two trophies still to play for. We know our support will turn up in good numbers on the night so we'll be doing everything to progress and reach the last four.”

For Saints' winger Conan Byrne, an FAI Cup winner with Buckley and Sporting Fingal in 2009, Friday's Dublin derby is one he is looking forward to.

“Yeah we're all looking forward to the game,” he told stpatsfc.com. “The lads have really stepped it up in the last few weeks and we've really worked hard to get some wins in the last few weeks with 1-0 wins against Shels, Derry, and Dundalk and then the win during the week so we've been going well.”

Byrne however was quick to point out to stpatsfc.com that the Saints' rivals from Phibsborough would prove to be tough opponents given their own current form.

“Bohs will give us a good game on Friday as they're playing well themselves at the moment – Dinny Corcoran is having a good season for them and they've a good mixture of youth and experience in their team. But if we can get things right ourselves, hopefully we can get the result to get us into the next round.”

Friday's match sponsor is SARI (Sport Against Racism in Ireland) Soccerfest, Pub sponsor is Taveys Bar on Emmet Road, Inchicore, while the match ball sponsor is the The Patron Saints.
