Saints Draw Against Drogs

St Pat's were unable to find a way past the Drogheda defence in an entertaining game at Richmond Park tonight.

The Saints were the better side in the opening half-hour which saw two penalty decisions go against John Russell while Conan Byrne hit the post from the edge of the penalty box.

However, it could have been the visitors who took the lead, but Brendan Clarke saved well from David Cassidy.

In the second half the Saints continued to dominate possession but failed to test Michael Schlingermann in the Drogheda goal.

So it's another point for the Saints as the remain top of the table and travel to Tallaght next week to take on Shamrock Rovers.
