Big Match Build-Up From Inchicore

  • Fri, Mar 05, 2010 @ 16:47

Preparations are well under-way with only a matter of hours to kick-off in the opening Airtricity League game of the 2010 season at Richmond Park.

stpatsfc.com will broadcast a live pre-match interview with Saints' boss, Pete Mahon, before kick-off to get his thoughts on this evening's match and the season ahead. Check back soon for more details!

The Saint
The St Patrick's Athletic matchday programme will be on sale around the ground priced at €3 and includes articles from Pete Mahon, Philip Nolan, Declan White, plus a signed poster of Vinny Faherty.

Excerpt from Pete Mahon:
“Richmond Park is a very positive place to be at the moment. We have a lot of new players with great quality in the squad while the club has just secured a new main sponsor in Nissan.

As well as that, every single player is sponsored and in such difficult times, when businesses seem to be going to the wall every day, this really is great news.

You, the fan, have a huge part to play and, while I strive to deliver hard work and passion from the players on the pitch, if that can be matched by the enthusiasm of your support on the terraces it will go a long way towards helping us to achieve the right results.”

Family Stand
New signage and Stadium Saints will welcome people to the new designated family area - Sections F & G of the main Chorus ntl Stand.

Visiting community groups, teams to play at the half-time game and participants of the club's schools coaching programme will all be directed to this area.

A small budget will also be available to help add that extra bit of colour, noise and excitement for those in the family section.
