ST PAT’S RUN SECOND SUCCESSFUL SOCCER CAMP
Up to 30 children aged between 9 and 12 signed up to learn to play the Saints way in our second successful Soccer Summer Camp last week.
Over the week the youngsters were put through their paces in a series of drills and routines designed to improve their football skills.
It was intense but enjoyable and the youngsters also had visits from the first team players including Damian Lynch, Jamie Harris, John Lester and Gints Freimanis.
The course was run by qualified coaches and the main co-ordinator Anto Bailey was delighted with the results “I think they found they found the course tough but enjoyable, we purposefully kept numbers down so we can give that extra bit of coaching and attention to the players where it's needed ”.
Following the success of this course and the previous course held in June it is hoped that further courses will be organised at the club around the school calendar and with fixtures permitting.
