JAMIE IS HOPING FOR THE PAT’S FACTOR!
Jamie Steers, a 22 year old Pats fan from Inchicore is hoping to make the big breakthrough when he auditions for the hit British TV Show X-Factor in the coming weeks.
The young singer feels he's ready for the next step up in his singing career and was thrilled to be asked to perform at halftime at St Patrick's Athletic's home tie with Galway United on Friday night.
“I've been a Saints fan for years so it will be privilege to walk out onto the pitch at Richmond Park, instead of standing on the Terrace. I'll be out in the centre circle which will feel pretty strange but it's a great opportunity for me” said young Jamie.
Though a bit apprehensive he is looking forward to Friday night “I would never have performed in front of so many people before but hopefully I will get a good reaction and the thumbs up from the Pats supporters”.
