St Patrick's Athletic's new signing John Lester is looking forward to "challenging for titles" in Inchicore.

Having signed from Galway United yesterday stpatsfc.com caught up with Lester today and got his thoughts on his new club.

"I was out of contract at Galway and was weighing up my options so when I got a call from Jeff Kenna I jumped at the chance of playing for Pats."

The 26 year old midfielder trained with his new team mates yesterday today and he was impressed with what he saw.

"They are a quality side with some quality players and I'm looking forward to start of the season and the chance of challenging for titles."

John from Cabinteely also added,

"It's also good to be back in Dublin and back with all the family and friends."
