ST PAT’S COMMUNITY TEAM REACH OUT TO OVER 2,700 IN LOCAL AREA

St Patrick's Athletic received a welcomed boost to their work in the community this Summer with the support of two placement students from UCD.

Tom Ramsey and Will Lynch are second year students of Sports and Management in UCD and they have just completed a ten week work experience placement at the club.

Hopefully they have enjoyed their time at St Pats and have learned a little bit about the workings of a League of Ireland football club.

In turn we have gained some valuable support for our efforts in promoting the club in the local area and especially to children and young people.

Overall they have assisted the club and the club promotions officer in making over 30 community visits and promoting the club directly to over 2,700 people.

That's a lot of Pats' posters, keyrings, programmes as well as match vouchers and tickets given to a lot of households.

Hopefully many more people will be encouraged to make a match night trip to Richmond Park to support their local team.
