HOMETEAMSCOPE – ST PAT’S V UCD

The treatment room is a little full at the moment in Richmond Park and it seems to be bursting at the seams with defenders but it does give other players in Johnny McDonnell's squad the chance to impress.

Defenders John Frost, Joe O'Cearuill, Jamie Harris and David Partridge have been joined in the treatment room by Damian Lynch who was forced off with hamstring trouble in the game against Cork City.

Former Pats youth player Noel Haverty deputized for the injured Lynch five days ago and could be in line for a starting place.

Saints boss McDonnell signaled the Inchicore side will not be guilty of underestimating Pete Mahon's men, “UCD have been unlucky in recent matches with a number of match decisions not going their way but they are a good footballing side as we saw in the League Cup.

“We will have to be on our toes especially as we are currently nursing a good few injuries. UCD have always done well against us so we can expect a tight game.”

The Students have already defeated Pats this season, coming out on top in a League Cup encounter at the Belfield Bowl, 2-0.

Kick off at Richmond Park tonight is @ 7.45pm.

Please note: Our first 500 fans to purchase match tickets on the night will receive a free souvenir DVD of St Pat's' 5-0 victory over Shamrock Rovers from the end of last season.
