FAI YOUTH CUP PREVIEW – ST PATS MANAGERSCOPE

Pats youth team manager Alan Ryan has a few injury worries ahead of the big game on Sunday, “Both Ciaran O'Connor and our goalkeeper Mark Gibbons have flu but we expect them to make a full recovery before the game and we have lost Brian Bonny through suspension.”

“We have been really focused in training and it has been going really well. Everyone in the squad and the management team are all looking forward to the game. We can't wait for Sunday. If the semi-final is as good as our league encounters this season then it should be excellent for the neutral fan.”

Ryan spoke of his Dundalk counterparts, “Dundalk are very strong and work hard for each other. They are excellent from set plays and in our last game all their 3 goals came from them.”

“We have been working hard on this in training. They also have the excellent Billy Smith in at centre forward, so our back four can expect a tough game.”

“We are expecting a good game of football and we hope to entertain the fans who come to the game, the big Richmond Park pitch should suit our passing style.”
