MANAGERSCOPE - JOHNNY McDONNELL

"SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE"

"It's a big night," says St Patrick's Athletic boss Johnny McDonnell. "Because, depending on the results, you could have three different teams on top of the table by the end of it."

“With ourselves playing Derry and Rovers playing Bohemians something is going to give at the top of the table", said McDonnell.

"Stephen Kenny has quickly got back into his stride in the eircom League and we'll need to be at the top of our game on Friday.

It's an important game for us not just because it's Derry - but because it's our next game.

It could be one of those special Richmond nights, a big crowd, plenty of noise and colour to support both teams.”

"We've got Jamie Harris back tonight and a few selection decisions but it's a good headache.

I'd rather that than what we had 24 months ago when we maybe didn't have players to choose from.

Certainly, training has been pretty good as a result, it's been very competitive."
