Supporters Match With Polish Fans

As part of the build up to the recent St Pats V Wisla Krakow game a friendly game was also arranged between Polish and St Pat's football supporters.

Held in the CIE grounds in Inchicore Village a lively and competitive match was enjoyed by both sets of supporters with the Polish team, playing in the red & white of St Pats narrowly winning 4-2.

Afterwards the Polish supporters were invited to McDowell's -the pub's club where they were presented with the match cup and where they enjoyed the local hospitality.

The evening was enjoyed by all with talk of a rematch being organised again before too long.

According to Polish football fan Damien Sasiak "this was one of the best things to come out the match between the two clubs as we were made feel really welcome in Inchicore".

Many thanks to all involved for helping to make the day a bit special.
