TOUGH END OF SEASON TEST AWAITS ST PAT’S

A tough end of season challenge is expected with the visit of Wisla Krakow to Richmond Park on November 13th.

One of the most successful Polish teams in recent years, Wisla have won the Polish League (Orange Ekstraklasa in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005, the Polish Cup in 2002 and 2003 and the Polish League Cup in 2002.

In addition Wisla contribute a number of players to the current and very successful Polish national team including leading players such as Dudka, Brozek, and Kosowski.

No strangers to European club competition, Wisla won through to the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Cup in 2006 where they competed with Blackburn Rovers, Nancy, Basel and Feyenoord.

With a very large contingent of Polish support expected to turn out at Richmond Park on the night, it should be like playing ‘at home away from home' for the current table-toppers of the Polish League.

Match tickets are available from St Patrick's Athletic Ticket Line 01 454 6332 and at selected outlets in the Moore Street Mall. Limited availability, so book your tickets early. As this is an all ticket game, tickets will not be on sale on the night.
