Live- Wire Winger Joins The Saints

Twenty-one year old Amateur International left winger Sean O'Connor signed last evening for the Saints. O'Connor, from Ballyfermot, is a former Crumlin Utd star and won the Metropolitan Cup with them last season.

He was capped eleven times for Gerry Smith's Amateur International team and recently featured in an International tournament in Poland.

John McDonnell commented that "Sean is a potential jewel of a find for us and we all hope that we can help him achieve his aims in the game.I am delighted to have signed him in what I see as a further signal that we are heading in the right direction as a team and a club."

The manager confirmed that O'Connor will be considered for a squad place next Friday night against Waterford Utd.
