Saints Set To Swoop For Trio

  • Mon, May 19, 2008 @ 21:02

St Patrick's Athletic are looking to bring in three international players that feature regularly in the eircom Premier Division.

The three targets are Joe Gamble and Colin Healy, who make up the central midfield for Cork City, while Paddy McCourt is an exciting winger for Derry City.

All three players are out of contract at the end of the season and St Pat's are expected to submit bids for the three midfielders in the July transfer window.

This could mean some players being shown the exit door at Richmond Park with Joseph Ndo, Michael Keane, and Glen Fitzpatrick rumoured to be part of a likely exodus.

With uncertainty around the future of Director of Football Brian Kerr, who could be leaving this week, the Dublin based club are still moving forward with their planning as they look to stay on top of the Premier Division table.
