Pat’s Back On Track For Bohs Clash

  • Fri, Oct 13, 2006 @ 9:44

The pressure was mounting on St Patrick’s Athletic boss John McDonnell just a fortnight ago, but a 4-1 FAI Cup quarter-final win over Longford followed by a 3-0 league success against Drogheda has the Saints’ season back on track ahead of their trip to face Bohemians tonight.

‘Those wins brought the confidence back and our season is still very much alive,’ said McDonnell.

Bohs have Stephen Rice and John Paul Kelly back from suspension but Jason McGuinness is banned.

Mark Leech joins Des Byrne, Fergal Harkin and Vinny Arkins on the injured list whilst on-loan Stephen Caffrey is ineligible.

Stephen Quigley (foot) is the only injury doubt for the Saints.
